After a successful landing in the theatres all across the globe and grabbing the attraction of critics to a great extent, Alita: Battle Angel does not seem to be coming back with a sequel and the reason is simply unknown. Shedding the light on the possibility of the film, the star actress Rosa Salazar who donned the Alita Battle Angel Rosa Salazar Black Leather Jacket in the film sounds quite unclear regarding the fate of the 2nd part.
She said, ” Yeah, I mean, they had a crazy merger. People are gaining jobs, people are losing jobs. The whole Disney/Fox acquisition is so involved, this isn’t the right time for me to call Alan Horn and be like, ‘Hey bro, I know you got a lotta stuff going on, but like what about Alita 2?’
Additionally, besides the number of factors, the above-indicated merger could be the potential reason the production of the film has not been announced yet. But even if the sequel does not happen, at least Salazar is not going to be in trouble as she is going to work in Pink Skies Ahead and The Bang Bang Girls in things-to-do-list of hers.
